Ecological Park Piedras Blancas

A green oasis just 50 minutes from the city, Eco-Park Piedras Blancas complements the things to do in Medellin with a wide variety of outdoor sports and activities in the middle of a clean environment.

Ecological Park Piedras Blancas is a wonderful place where visitors can find great tourist possibilities, amid a forest sanctuary in the Santa Elena natural reserve.

Visitors can be dazzled with the Entomological Museum, which features a sample of about nine thousand specimens in perfect condition. They can observe colorful butterflies, insects, crickets and native bugs, tended by expert biologists. There is also the Butterfly Garden, where guests can enjoy the flight of 20 species of butterflies of eastern Antioquia.
