Parque de las Aguas

The Parque de las Aguas (the Water Park) is a huge entertainment and recreational water park, located in the municipality of Barbosa, just 40 minutes away from the city. One of the most visited places and preferred things to do in Medellin by local and visitors.

With an extension of twelve acres, Parque de las Aguas is an exceptional park, perfect to enjoy the nice Medellin’s weather. Good for recreation, sports, family enjoyment, healthy recreation and the promotion of environmental education.

Parque de las Aguas park offers many aquatic activities:

Recreation pool: sunbathing central island, cascade mushrooms, waterfall, water polo goals and jets in the park’s largest pool.

Wave pool: with waves of about 2.5 meters high, creates the feeling of being at sea.

Diving pool: a pulley, a handrail and two slides, bringing a huge adrenaline load.

Child Pool: Features a recreational park with jets coming in all kinds and forms of intensity. Slides, bridges, tunnels and a shallow island.

Slow river pool: A 700 meters long water way that goes all around the park on a float.

Maximum speed slides: the extreme speed 45 degrees slide, the longest 60 degree high-speed slide, and the uneven slide with variable slopes and jumps.

Tire slides: two wide slides full of curves and slopes to be used with float.
