Il Forno Restaurant

Il Forno is one of the most successful and famous Medellin restaurants and it owes its popularity to the amazing flavor of their meals, cooked entirely in the wood oven they have at each of their branches.

The menu at Il Forno offers a complete Italian gastronomic range, from pastas, pizzas, main courses, sandwiches, ravioli brushettas, meats, salads to stuffed Portobello mushrooms and delicious desserts. One of the house specialties are the combinations of meat, pastas and salads.

Il Forno started in a small house, in the San Lucas neighborhood, in Medellin; nowadays, they have ten branches in Medellin and Cali.

The large size sandwiches are very recommended for its fusion of ingredients. The Leonardo for example, has mayonnaise and mustard, thin slices of smoked loin, green tomatoes, baked onion and bacon, and can be gratin.

Open from 12:00 m. to 10:00 pm on weekdays. On weekends they close at 12.00 a.m
